5 July 1985: Lucia Perez born


Born as Lucia Pérez Vizcaino on 5 July 1985, Lucia Perez entered the Eurovision stage in 2011 with the song 'Que me quiten lo bailao'. She debuted in 2003 with her album 'Amores y amores'. Two years later, she represented Spain in the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile and she placed second in the international competition with the song "Qué haría contigo". After releasing four albums, she took part in the Spanish selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011.


At the final that took place in Düsseldorf, Germany on 14 May she placed 23rd. However, she was 16th in the separate televoting result. It did not harm her recording career: in 2014 she released her sixth album.
